You don't need to be a member of our Congregation to hold your wedding ceremony in our sanctuary! Over the years, hundreds of non-member couples have begun their married lives with their ceremonies held in our sanctuary.
Our California 'mission-style' sanctuary offers a light and airy setting for your service, with clerestory windows providing daylight from above, while large ground-level windows behind vine-covered porticos let in light but also screen the view for a more intimate setting. The sanctuary is air-conditioned.
For musical accompaniment to your ceremony, we offer the availability of both a concert grand piano, and a true (not synthesized) pipe organ, as well as the staff to play them. In addition, our organists are also skilled on synthesizer keyboards, which can provide a tremendous range of musical sounds and styles to meet virtually every request.
The posted maximum legal occupancy for our sanctuary is 198, and pews on the main floor offer seating for about 194 adults of average size. Pews located in the upstairs balcony offer an additional 25 seating spaces. If your expected number of guests falls within these ranges, we invite you to consider our facilities in your planning. Our parking lot has 49 marked spaces available for guest parking. We have two ladies in our congregation, who serve as our 'wedding coordinators', who will work with you to customize the rental of our facilities and services to best match your plans and wishes for your ceremony. Our basic pricing for a wedding ceremony is $600. This includes use of our Sanctuary, as well as our Minister, Wedding Coordinator and Organist, for both your Rehearsal and your Wedding Ceremony itself. As explained immediately below, it does not include any usage of our Fellowship Hall facility for a reception following your ceremony. While many receptions following the service are held offsite at favorite restaurants or hotels, etc., our Education building across the courtyard from the sanctuary does have a large room (called 'Fellowship Hall) that a number of wedding parties have utilized for their receptions. This room, about 1100 square feet in area, has a small kitchen area along one end and opens, through patio doors on one side, to a covered patio and playground area for use in nice weather. Luncheon seating for guests is provided with folding chairs and folding 'banquet-style' tables. The largest 'sit-down' reception held there seated approximately 80 people inside the Hall. Our fee for use of this Hall for such receptions afterward is $150. A 'cleaning deposit' of $100 is also collected, but this is refunded to you when the room is cleaned out and cleaned up to its original condition by your caterer or other members of your wedding party, etc. For specialized circumstances, feel free to discuss fees and/or any customized arrangements with our Minister or Wedding Coordinator. We have 2 downloadable forms available below, to assist in your planning process. If your computer has Adobe Acrobat Reader, or other software that can display and print pdf documents, you may wish to download and printout a copy of our Wedding information sheet. This one page sheet goes into greater detail about some of our customary requirements and timelines that will generally apply to the planning of your ceremony. We also have a form for the bride and groom to provide us with their contact information and other details that the minister will use in working with you to plan your ceremony. After you download and print this form, it may be filled out and mailed or faxed to us (see below for contact information). If done early in the planning process, this will facilitate our work and planning together with you. Generally, we will want you to fill out a copy of this form before a ceremony is actually scheduled. If you are unable to properly download and print either of these items for whatever reason, contact us as provided below, and we will be glad to send you copies via traditional U.S. Mail. Adobe has a page for downloading a copy of Acrobat Reader. if you need to obtain that. You may contact us by .......
